A FALL FEAST! Tavern Night!

The Depreciation Lands Museum and the Pittsburgh Historical Music Society invite revelers are to a lively gathering for adults in the “Deacon’s Tavern” at the Depreciation Lands Museum. We are offering the dinner on two separate nights this year which will allow us to seat our guests more spaciously. Experience an evening of historical entertainment in the atmosphere of an 18th century frontier tavern.
Join us for libations and a delicious 18th century dinner prepared by Chef Gary Jones, author of Stolen Vegetable Soup. The Wayward Companions will regale you with tavern songs from the 18th Century throughout the evening. Candlelight, a fire-filled hearth, lively music, delectable dishes and bon vivant await! Period dress is highly welcomed but certainly not necessary. Advanced reservations are required for this event.
Our Menu for this year’s Fall Feast —
First Course: Roasted Pumpkin Soup with Thyme infused Honey and Cream
Entree: Baked Boneless Chicken Breast stuffed with Grana Cheese and Wild Rice Medley. Pan Gravy and traditional Fall Vegetables
Dessert: Colonial Bread Pudding with Bourbon Steeped Fruit Compote and Creme Anglaise
Beverages: An assortment of drinks including Wine, Ale, Coffee and Tea
Dinner, drink and entertainment are all inclusive for a single tariff of $45 per person.
This event is appropriate for adults 21 and older.
18th Century Attire welcome! Period appropriate hand-crafted mugs will be available for purchase (cash only) for enjoying the evening’s beverages
